Wax Polishes
Our range of “Gum Oils” are based on bees wax and carnauba wax suspended in vegetable oils and are suitable for producing pectin, gelatin and starch based gums and pastilles.
These can also be used for extruded and molded liquorice products.
AraTAs® Wax Polishes provide excellent anti-sticking properties, whilst also creating a high luster and gloss. As well as it’s more immediate benefits, these polishes also prevent premature drying and surface cracking of the finished product.
We have developed AraTAs® Confectioners' Gum Oil C (CON5016) specifically for liquorice rope.
AraTAs® Anti-Sticking and Glazing Agent B (CON5506) has been developed for gumdrops, and can also be modified to include flavors, such as strawberry, orange, lemon and tutti frutti.
This adds an initial burst of flavor when packaging is opened and when initially consumed.
